About the role:
As an IT & Network Lead at Safepay, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing network operations, providing end-user support and ensuring the security and efficiency of our network systems. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in network management, IT support, and firewall administration.
What You’ll do:
- IT & Network Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's information technology and network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Monitor information technology and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT and network-related projects.
- IT Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related concerns promptly.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance end-users' understanding of network systems and best practices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to address broader technology issues and contribute to IT strategy development.
- Firewall Management:
- Design, implement, and manage firewall configurations to safeguard the company's network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Regularly review and update firewall rules to align with security best practices.
- Data Center Management:
- Oversee the data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions for critical systems.
- Security Compliance:
- Ensure network security compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular internal security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures in network.
- Vendor Management:
- Liaise with network service providers and vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Develop and update network diagrams and schematics.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 03-04 years in network management, firewall administration, and IT support.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, network architecture and data center operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
